In Puglia, natural stone plays a major role, which is reflected in this property in a very beautiful, aesthetic form. The name of the villa Pietra di Puglia for its character and is to be understood as a memorandum, a homage, so to speak.
The holiday home is situated in a green oasis amidst countless olive trees and newly planted cicas palms. The attractive villa promises pure relaxation. The T-shaped private pool (9×5 m) offers the perfect diversion after a hot day at the beach or on an excursion. A natural stone sun terrace with 6 sun loungers frames the 1.30 m deep pool (5 steps). Surrounding it is a green lawn and an outdoor shower for refreshment. The almost fragile-looking glass railing on the side, combined with the strong stone, and the airy open veranda form a fantastic and stylish contrast. A house where tradition and modernity go perfectly together. Especially in the evening, when the property is illuminated, the holiday home has a very special atmosphere.
The spacious veranda with attractive furniture invites you to linger, perhaps with a good book. Due to the slightly elevated position of the veranda, you have a beautiful view outside. Whether light lunch barbecue or fine Apulian specialities, the dining area on the veranda is the perfect meeting place with family or good friends.
The light-flooded upper level houses the living-dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the outdoors, as well as 2 bedrooms (one double and one room with 2 single beds, which can be put together if desired) and a bathroom with shower. The ambience is friendly, casual and sets various, partly surprising colour accents. The bright living room has a beautiful crystal table that can be used both as a dining table and for smart working. The fireplace brings warmth and cosiness into the home on cooler days.
The basement, accessible only via an external staircase, houses its own kitchen with dining area, sofa and small Tv, as well as a bedroom with double bed and bathroom. Because the holiday home has two fully equipped kitchens and the lower living area is physically separated, it offers many possible configurations that allow freedom and independence (for example a family with parents or au pair or simply 3 couples).
Solar panels supply the ground floor with hot water; there is a boiler for the basement.
