La Maison N° 75 

In the heart of the enchanting White City of Ostuni, on Via Don Luigi Sturzo, lies the tastefully furnished La Maison N° 75. This charming ground-floor apartment is located directly in the center of the new town. From bars and boutiques, hairdressers and restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops, everything is within easy reach. Ostuni's main shopping street, Viale Pola, is just a minute's walk away. The picturesque and charming old town, reminiscent of an oriental kasbah, can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

The attractive holiday apartment features a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed for two more people, a bathroom, and a kitchen. (The downstairs area, separated by a door, is not included in the rent.)

Maison No. 75 symbolizes the meeting of elegant Mediterranean living and contemporary comfort. Here, Italophile and Francophile hearts will beat faster! The elegant living room, with a large front window and an opaque curtain, features antique Provençal furniture and a heavy original wooden chest from 1681 that may have come from Pirati dei Caraibi, a real eye-catcher. The warm atmosphere is subtly and impressively underscored by the peach color of the four walls of the living and sleeping areas.

Although the apartment is located on the street, it certainly has a pleasant atmosphere and character. The owner clearly has a passion for paintings. An interesting mix of southern French coastal landscapes, contemporary Italian art motifs, and antique paintings and prints adorn the walls.

The classically styled bedroom features a brown iron bed (firm mattress), an antique Apulian dresser, a family heirloom, and an antique Friulian wardrobe (without hangers). It's located in the back; the window overlooks a light well and the wall of the house. The kitchenette, with white drawers crafted by a local carpenter, is accented by a beautiful marble countertop in soft white and green. The white and green bathroom has a glass shower and bidet.

While the ceiling height is very high in the living room and bedroom, it is quite low in the kitchenette and in one corner of the bathroom. Maison No. 75 is an interesting alternative to seaside homes. The magnificent coast is just a few minutes' drive away (7 km).

Life, the hustle and bustle, the seeing and being seen, unfold in Ostuni's historic center during the summer months. A stroll to the cathedral, an aperitif at the "Borgo Antico Bistrot," a stroll through the small boutiques, and a lovely dinner on the outdoor terraces. Pure lifestyle!
